writer/director/editor & costume designer
Francesca Roth (she/her) — is a narrative film writer/director, documentary producer, and has spent the majority of her career as an IATSE 892 costume designer for feature films, TV and commercials. She is a co-founder of the production company, Ahra Films, and founder of an eco-friendly and sustainable vintage online retail company, My Grandma’s Closet. In 2024, she produced Earth Focus, a five-episode PBS docuseries telling environmental stories from a cultural lens. Her costume design work includes Empire Waist (Blue Fox Entertainment), Trees of Peace (Netflix), Unlovable (MGM/Orion) and Justine (Array), shows for NBCUniversal/Snap, Adult Swim, Comedy Central, commercials for Nike, Instagram and Instacart, and music videos for John Legend, Snoop Dogg and Yacht. Francesca is a born and raised Angeleno with dual US and German citizenship. She graduated from California State University at Northridge with a Bachelor’s in Creative Writing.

Julie Bersani (she/her) — is the founder of Black Poppy Productions, Head of Production for boutique commercial production company, Mirth and Merriment, as well as a founding member and resident producer for Ammunition Theatre Company. Julie graduated from NYU - Tisch School of the Arts and has produced critically acclaimed content in theatre, film, and music videos for artists and clients including John Legend and The Grammys. Julie is most excited about supporting thoughtful storytellers who bring their unique point of view and style into their work. She likes stories that are unexpected, strange, funny, magical, and surreal.

Ryan Carmody (he/him) — iis a Los Angeles based IATSE 600 cinematographer and UTA Artist with experience in television, commercials, narrative, and feature documentaries. He has worked internationally with a wide range of clients including Audi, McLaren, Google and Nike. His latest short films, Officer Stanley (2024) and Flower (2023) premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. His short film, The Sounds of Silence, received an honorable mention from the American Society of Cinematographers.

Caitlin Nicole Williams (she/her) — is an LA-based Production Designer by way of the College of Motion Picture Arts at Florida State University. She came up as an Art Coordinator for Comedy Central’s Workaholics and Key & Peele under ADG award winning Production Designer Gary Kordan. As a designer in her own right she has worked on various feature films, television series, music videos and commercials. Clients she has worked with include Google, Spotify, Disney, Converse, Heineken and Camp Tour Stores, to name a few.

D'nelle Almanza (she/her) — is an LA-based licensed cosmetologist, certified makeup artist, and Local 706 Hairstylist. Her experience as a hair and makeup artist ranges from beauty and narrative to special fx makeup. Her professional, sanitary, and keen eye for detail has given her opportunities to work with many artists in the industry. Recent hair work includes The Afterparty (Apple TV+), Creed III (2023), The Old Man (hulu), and American Horror Story (FX).

Leesa Simone (she/her) — is a Local 706 Union Makeup Artist based in Los Angeles, CA, with a career that has taken her around the World. Her kind and modest personality has offered her amazing opportunities that have propelled her career up and forward. Leesa's ability to compassionately lead a team and excel in business management has allowed her to be a reliable Department Head, but additionally is a respectful and humbled team player, who can easily be lead - which makes her a valuable asset to any project and/or crew.

Liz Charky (she/her) — is an American cinematographer of Syrian, Sicilian, and Tonawanda-Seneca heritage, creating visual stories among the endless intersections of humor, heartbreak, love, and loneliness. Her cinematography has been presented by Camerimage, Cucalorus Film Festival, AFI Fest, SCAD Savannah Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival, Reeling: Chicago LGBTQ+ International, SXSW Panel Picker, LA Shorts, among others. In 2022, Liz received an MFA in Cinematography from AFI and holds BA degrees in Film Studies and Dance from Connecticut College, where she studied performance, choreography, and visual storytelling with a focus on gender & queer studies.

Anjelica Jardiel (she/her) — is a bicoastal Filipina-American documenting human connection as a photographer and filmmaker. Since graduating from UC San Diego with a BA in Communications and from Art Center College of Design with a BFA in Photography + Imaging, she’s worked with notable companies and publications like Urban Outfitters, Parks Project, Amazon Music, People Magazine and the The Wall Street Journal. Anjelica founded ANYONE / ANYWHERE, an initiative to make photography more accessible through public workshops, free camera rental kits and a public art exhibition in partnership with the Brooklyn Public Library.

Elori Saxl (she/her) — makes music and film. She released a new album The Blue of Distance on Western Vinyl January 2021 and released four subsequent music videos, Wave I, Wave II, Wave III, and Before Blue. She's composed music for classical ensembles, the Guggenheim, Burton, Patagonia, Google, Poler, Dove, the New Yorker, This American Life, Public Radio International, SFMOMA, and more. Her music has been featured by Pitchfork, The New Yorker, WNYC New Sounds, BBC 3 Radio, Popmatters, Dusted, A Closer Listen, and more.

Tyler Sabbag (he/him) — is an Emmy winning, California-based composer and video artist creates audio and multimedia works seeking to spotlight beauty, love, and intellectual playfulness. His work includes music for film, contemplative listening, and for dancing, as well as short films pairing miracles of Planet Earth with original musical compositions.Sabbag was born in northern California in 1983. Beginning his musical journey on the drums as a young child, he would go on to study with noteworthy jazz dignitary Omar Clay before moving to Los Angeles to attend USC's Flora L. Thornton School of Music in 2002, where he would continue his education with luminaries Ndugu Chancler, Terri Lyne Carrington, and Alan Pasqua. From 2005-2012, Sabbag composed and performed with the wild-yet-influential art-pop band Pizza!. In 2014, Sabbag joined longtime collaborator and former Pizza! bandmate Duncan Thum in creating music for film, and their collaborative efforts were quickly rewarded with back-to-back Emmy Award nominations for their work on the renowned Netflix documentary series, Chef’s Table.
